mr. dr. Bart W. Schermer is Chief Knowledge Officer at Considerati, a consultancy with a focus on the legal and public affairs aspects of digital technologies. Bart is also an associate professor at Leiden University, faculty of law, and a member of the human rights committee of the Advisory Council on International Affairs (AIV). In his work he focuses on the impact of digital technologies on human rights, with a specific focus on AI. He is the author of the ECP Artificial Intelligence Impact Assessment, a practical tool for assessing the risk of AI applications.
