QUANT CAREERS SYMPOSIUM 2024

We welcome all quant finance professionals, students and graduates to attend this exciting event, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

As always, we have two invited great speakers. This year, they are:

• Prof. Wim Schoutens, professor of Quantitative Finance at KU Leuven, a famous author, speaker and a legendary quant. He will speak about Omnipresent Model Risk.

• Dr. Svetlana Borovkova, who has been the organiser of the Best EU QF thesis prize for the last 10 years, but is now saying goodbye to the Dutch academia and the organization of the thesis prize. Hers is a goodbye talk: “Ten highlights of the quant career”.

On this event, the Best EU Quant Finance Thesis Prize 2024 will be awarded. The three finalists will pitch their theses and the winner will be decided and announced during the symposium.

The day will conclude with drinks, food and networking.
