Pension reform: impact on the markets and you
We are happy to announce our next TopQuants Spring Event on “Pension reform: impact on the markets and you “ which will be held on the 18th of June 2024 at the Science Park Conference Centre in Amsterdam.
As in previous Spring events, there will be a plenary program with different speakers and a panel discussion – this time led by Sebastiaan van Westerop (Rabobank). Our speakers for this event are:
- Eva Wierenga – Partner at EY: Are employees supported enough to make the right choices regarding their pension under the WTP?
- Jaap Teerhuis – Senior rates strategist at ABN AMRO: Impact on new pension fund act on investment portfolios of Dutch Pension Funds
- Roel Mehlkopf – Pension fund advisor at Cardano: How and when do pension funds adjust their investment portfolios? And should we worry about market impact?
Eva will focus on the impact of the upcoming pension reform in the Netherlands on the participants, Jaap will deal with the impact on pension fund asset allocation once the reform is live, whereas Roel will focus on the journey to get there, also touching on hedges that pension funds could put in place to make the transition smoother. As usual, we will conclude the event with an informal networking session, drinks & bites.
This year, our Spring event is not sponsored and therefore the ticket prices are slightly higher compared to previous events, so we encourage you to get your tickets fast with the early bird discount.
